Are we giving each other hopes again?
The kind that is simply non-existent?
These things I know too well.
Yet maybe, just maybe this time it would be different,
Then again how many times have I told myself that.
Perhaps now I'll take it with a pitch of salt or even a tinniest bit of it.
That once it's gone, I won't feel it or better yet I won't notice it.
