Obsession: Red Nail Polishes

Most of you would probably know that I'm currently in my hometown for a short vacation. That's the reason why I haven't posted as much but I'm excited to share a lot of things to you once I manage to transfer my photos into my laptop.
Moving along, do you ladies know that I have a subtle obsession with red nail polishes? Apparently Aliza Licht of Donna Karan International shares the same obsession as me. Red is indeed a power colour and looks perfect on pale skin. But I'm not really into blue toned reds. I find that it doesn't look good on me as compared to brown toned reds. For a while I've been using OPI Marooned on the Magnificent Mile. But I think I've grown out of it and wanted to try other shades. If you have any suggestions, let me know!

I'm head over heels in love with red nail polishes and lipstick. For me, the best would be from Chanel. Try the Dragon nail polish. Best of the best for me! The best red out there...
ReplyDeleteI am the exact opposite, red-toned reds look best on me but the brown toned ones seem to make me look washed out. I love how brown-toned hues look though and I am always envious of those who can pull it off!
ReplyDeleteI love OPI's red nail polishes, they have such a great variety of shades - but my favourite is "so hot it berns" by opi. Great shade!

i love red nail polish as well. I think it was one of the first colors that i got into! revlon has some great warm shades similar to the bold effect red gives. i never liked cool shades like blue either for the nails..lol they don't look good against my skintone either~~
