The Slouchy Pants

These slouchy pants whether it's printed or in solid colors can look chic and stylish with just the right pairing. I personally love to wear it with a tank top and a vest along with a nice pair of heels and a clutch. It makes the look polished yet still a bit laid back. You can wear it either day or night and you'll look stylish without trying too hard.

Four Considerations When Deciding on a Mother of the Bride Dress

Four Considerations When Deciding on a Mother of the Bride Dress

Deciding on which mother of the bride dress to pick is a tough nut to crack. So to make your search easier here are four considerations to guide you in making the right choice.

Sure, you’re truly happy about your daughter getting married. But, the part about dressing up for the occasion is probably something you dread about. While you want to look spectacular without stealing the limelight from the bride, the thought of having to go through hundreds of options just to find that one dress that will make you look good while sticking to the wedding’s underlying dress code can easily give you a headache.

Before you go shopping for your frock, you will be able to ease your mind by spending time looking at some of the important details about the wedding. Here are four factors you need to take into account that will help dictate the attire appropriate for you.
Wedding venue
Where will the ceremony and reception take place? In a hotel? At the beach? Or may be in a grand vineyard? If the event will be held outdoors, you want to skip on wearing a dress that brushes the ground. It will easily get dirty and will make it difficult for you to walk around the area. Instead, a cocktail dress is more suitable for an outdoor wedding. If, however, the ceremony and reception are booked in a hotel or ballroom, you can never go wrong with a long dress that has a sophisticated cut. Remember you will most likely wear the dress from the morning or afternoon until late at night, so what you want to achieve is a look that is comfortable, stylish, and suits the venue.
Time and season
Don’t forget that daytime weddings and evening affairs follow separate dress codes. For the day, experts advice to opt for fabrics that are light in hue and minimize the accessories to avoid looking too busy. In the evening, a frock in a darker tone or one that has sparkles is more acceptable.
The season in which the wedding date falls could also influence the attire you will wear. For instance, dresses with short hemlines are preferred during summer weddings to ensure maximum comfort on a hot weather. Long dresses, on the other hand, are suitable for winter weddings to offer warmth as the temperature plummets. Colours and fabrics also change depending on the on the season. Bold or pastel colours and light or sheer fabrics are ideal for warmer months, while darker hues and thicker materials always suit fall and winter weddings.
Bride’s Vision
Never go out shopping for your dress without consulting the bride. She likely has ideas about what she would like for you to wear on her big day and you do not want to disappoint her for making the wrong choice. If she cannot accompany you when shopping, it is a good idea to touch base with her to get her vision for the day. Know what her restrictions are so that you will be able to steer clear from them once you start to shop around. However, do not forget to voice out your opinions as well so that she will know if a particular style suits you or not.
The Groom’s Mom
It’s customary for the mother of the bride to purchase her dress before the mother of the groom. However, this is old-school etiquette and there is no guarantee that the groom’s mom will follow tradition. As such, it will be better if you will communicate with her days before you go shopping. Tell her what your plans are and ask for her input as well. Doing this simple task will help avoid the probability of getting the same dress and will also ensure that your styles are in sync with each other.

Tips to Look Slimmer in Your Swimwear

Nothing strikes terror in the heart of some women more than the idea of slipping into a bathing suit. Because we live in such a body conscious society, some timid beach goers may fear that others are scrutinizing their love handles or looking down their nose at their cellulite or muffin top.

The good news is, you don’t have to be a size 2 with zero body fat to look good in your swimwear. There are many ways to mask your imperfections with the right bathing suit. By color blocking, wearing certain patterns and choosing certain materials, you can strut your stuff at the beach or at the next pool party, feeling beautiful and confident. The following tips can show you how to do just that.

Color block your designer swimwear. Color blocking is a huge fashion trend where you pair two or three different solid colors together in one outfit to make a daring statement. Color blocking isn’t just found on Parisian runways and on the covers of magazines. By color blocking your bathing suit, you can stand out while disguising those less-than-perfect body parts. So how can you make a two piece look more flattering? Simply pair two colors in the same family, such as all neon colors or all pastels, and wear the darker shade on the area that you’d like to appear more slimming. Canyon Beachwear offers a vast selection of gorgeous designer swimsuits for all of your color blocking needs. The Indigo Brentwood Bandeau Top pairs nicely with the Teal Cosmo Cinch Back Bottom to flaunt your curves while putting the emphasis on your best features.
Experiment with strapless resort wear. Strapless bathing suits not only make a bold statement, but they’re a fabulous way to draw attention to your cleavage and shoulders, areas that look wonderful on most women. Strapless swimwear featuring unique patterns or bright colors will help you make a splash as you stroll along the seashore this summer.

You can’t go wrong with ruffles. Ruffles isn’t just the name of a famous potato chip. This frilly but feminine fashion trend can add a flourish to your bathing suit while helping you feel seductive and sassy. Consider wearing a pastel bathing suit with one ruffle down the front or a one-shouldered number to show off a little skin.

Shopping for bathing suits no longer has to be a burden. The above tips can help you select the perfect swimwear for your body type.

Matt Orange Lips

Summer to me screams bronze and orange and what a better way to embrace those summer hues than to actually wear it. This is not for the faint of heart. For one thing, choose the right shade is critical to your skin tone. I find that these colours here seems to work for most skin tone.

Why Real Leather Is Worth It

Why Real Leather Is Worth It

There is something very stylish and classy about real leather. A good quality ladies leather handbag has a certain cachet that's so chic, and a pair of designer leather court shoes can make a girl feel divine, but what about patent leather? Is it just as classy as real leather?
Genuine patent leather is superb with handbags made out of the material being what has become high fashion accessories offering a girl lots of style. The same goes for a pair of genuine patent leather shoes. Although patent leather tends to be more on the expensive side, it's definitely worth the extra because of the way it's made.
Genuine Patent Leather A Great Wardrobe Investment
Patent leather, if it's genuine, is a superb investment because only top grade leather is used to make it. This leather is treated with a coat of polyurethane plastic that gives it that superb glossy finish, that's makes anything made out of it so very desirable.
Patent Leather or Normal Leather?
When it comes to choosing whether you'd be better off with a high quality leather ladies handbag or a genuine patent leather one, you need to ask yourself a couple of questions. Firstly, you have to think about the expense – genuine patent leather can be a lot more expensive. Secondly, patent leather tends to be much higher maintenance. A gorgeous real leather handbag on the other hand, is easier to keep looking pristine and they usually work out a lot cheaper too.
Wonderful Styles in Leather and Patent
Trends have seen some amazing patent leather satchels appearing on the market, as well as very stylish totes headlining the fashion scene. Then there are the brilliant hobos and shoulder bags which you can find either in leather or patent. For evening use patent clutch bags are right up there with the most stylish of ladies handbags around and are a definite “must have” addition to a wardrobe.
Think Bright Think Genuine Patent Leather
Neons are big this summer and this includes in the patent leather department. Gone are the days of just having black patent ladies handbags – today there's a superb choice from pink patent to lush green and vibrant reds – think ever so stylish patent leather clutch bag – but make sure it's genuine!
Looks Say It All
Nothing beats genuine leather whether it's patent or not, and ladies handbags do say so much about the person carrying them. But with this said, there are some faux patent leather bags around because it's pretty easy to copy a genuine bag. You need to be careful because the replica bags are made out of vinyl and are not as robust as the real thing.
Although the faux patent leather bags are a lot cheaper, they never feel or look as good. You may notice faux leather ladies handbags are a lot stiffer to the touch and they have a slightly gaudier look to them instead of that wonderful rich sheen that makes a genuine patent handbag so desirable.
