Alexander Wang Resort Collection 2014

Hardly do I see Alexander Wang use colors in any of this collection. He is more known to use black and greys and seeing how he injects a pop of pink and green into his collection was a pleasant surprise. 

I've always been into contrasting combinations such as hard and soft, dark and bright. For me it gives the look a much needed balance that is pleasing to the eye. But that doesn't mean I wouldn't go for anything monochromatic. It's more of a personal preference.

After seeing his collection, I came to love Alexander Wang even more. Knowing that he deviates away from his darker side so to speak only shows how he can open himself up to changes and new innovation.
