Bistro Du Vin - A Casual French Dining

There are a number of good french restaurants in Singapore and one of which is Bistro Du Vin. I've never heard about this place until it was introduce to me by one of my colleagues. After reading a lot of good reviews, we decided to try it out and true enough, we weren't disappointed.

We ordered the braised chicken and slow cooked lamb shank for our mains and oh my gosh, the meat is so soft and flavourful that we couldn't get enough of it. The serving is huge so it's good enough for two. As for the soups and dessert, the taste is just right and not overpowering.

I'll probably try their other mains on my next visit but from what I've tried, I can definitely say that this place does not only serve good food but it's attention to detail and nostalgic ambiance makes it the perfect combination of a casual french dining.

Chocolate Revel Bar

If there is one type of brownie that I would eat anytime of the day, this would be it. Chocolate revel bar is my absolute favorite. When I was in college, I always buy this and it was so cheap that I could buy as many as I want. I wouldn't dare of course. These babies are so sinful that they can pack on the pounds, if you're not careful. Hello! It's chocolate! It's practically given. But it's too good to pass up. I'm telling you, if you haven't tried this you're missing half of your life. So over the weekend I suggest you try making it. The recipe can be found here and if you're having a party, this would definitely be a crowd pleaser.

DIY: Glitter Key With Nail Polish

Aren't these the cutest? Keys are deemed as plain and boring, that's why most of us will jazz it up with key chains and the likes. I remember painting mine using markers but these are more fab. If you're interested in making one, you can find the instructions here.
