Monday Workday Beauty
Beauty
Happy Monday ladies!
It's another work week and though I'm feeling a bit under the weather, I thought a nice pop of red would just brighten things up. Most of you might know that I love reds especially when it comes to beauty. Not only does it give you that perfect pop of colour but it gives people the impression that you're a powerful and sophisticated chick.
If you're not really into reds and prefer to express a more playful side of yours then tangerine orange is your best bet. This colour of the year is just as trendy as it could get and if you're wondering how to incorporate it into your wardrobe, a lipstick or a nailpolish is a good way to start.

This Week In Photos
food
This week was a major food fest. From valentines to fancy dinners, there's just so much to take in. But it was all good, memorable in fact. I wouldn't trade it for anything else.

She Said, He Said
Thoughts
She said "I don't know how I ever made you like me"...
He said "You're not difficult to like"...

New Look!
I know I've been away for quite sometime, but I'm back! And I'm so excited to announce that
Think Runway has a brand new look! I think the design really captures what Think Runway women is about;
feminine, chic and uber glamourous.

Chic Swedish Decor
decor
I'm in love with this decor. I think if I'll have my own apartment, this is definitely how I wanted it to look like. Every small detail here just blends perfectly with each other ; from the pink suede chair to the leopard and stripe pillows. It just looks chic.
I applaud how Swedish designed their apartments. They can make their space look minimalistic yet stylish on it's own. Previously I posted a swedish decor here as well. But considering my uber feminine side, this interior is a favorite.

Words Of My Father
Thoughts
I wasn't really the closest to my dad, yet when we do have conversations, I take his words to heart. He might repeat his stories over and over yet whenever I ask relevant questions, he answered it in a way that would make me look at things in a much better perspective. A true wisdom from a father.
Before I flew back to Singapore, we had a father - daughter talk in the most casual setting; inside our car.
He told me "Focus on one thing and be good at it. Remember you are developing a habit. Work hard and don't give money too much importance. If you focus on being rich, you'll go crazy finding ways to achieve it. Learn to let go. Because sometimes we need to spend in order to get something. Live a simple life and be happy"
Thanks Dad and I love you.

During my teenage years, my mom would always tell me to wear bright colours because when I grow older it's harder to pull it off. She might be half right but that doesn't mean you can't wear a red dress in your forties. In fact, I applaud women who wear such and still look fabulous. The trick here is to choose the right cut, fabric and tone of red that would best suit your age.
Since Valentine's day is almost here, I thought it's appropriate to share my tips in choosing the perfect red dress.
In your 20's
Since Valentine's day is almost here, I thought it's appropriate to share my tips in choosing the perfect red dress.
In your 20's
- Be adventurous with different cuts. You can always go away with it.
- Avoid silk fabrics as it makes you look older.
- Play around with different tones of red.
In your 30's
- Choose a cut that flatters your figure.
- Make sure it's not too short or too long.
- Don't stick with just a solid red dress. Find something that has a mix of muted colour on it like blacks or whites.
- Choose a darker tone of red.
- Clean cut is always a good choice.
- Choose a dress with a subtle detail like a side drape or pleats.
